Nestled on the bank of the River Ribble, our 110 years old club is a hidden gem in the small town of Penwortham.

Our 18 recently-established USGA greens contribute to a rolling parkland course of high quality with a testing par of 69, with the course inspiring and challenging in equal measure. It is delightfully varied, plays well throughout the year and is a firm favourite with visiting parties, corporate golf days, or with our popular Open Competitions.

Our Men’s, Ladies’, Seniors’ and Juniors’ Sections all offer well-established, internal competitions together with external fixtures with other Clubs in local leagues. These events, along with a variety of social functions, help new members feel at home from the outset.

Renowned for its friendly atmosphere, our freshly refurbished clubhouse has a veranda that overlooks the first tee and the eighteenth green, excellent catering facilities, well-stocked bars and attractive meeting rooms for both social and business occasions. We also have a Pro Shop with no less than three Professionals providing tuition and advice on technique and equipment.
