Parkland golf at its best
The naturally undulating and wooded slopes of the present 18-hole parkland course have been improved and developed throughout the years. The most recent improvements are based on recommendations made by John Nicholson Associates, a partnership including Ken Brown, the former Ryder Cup star turned television commentator and our course architect, Ken Moodie,
The Club has subsequently invested more than £600,000 in building sand based greens, improving drainage etc and although constantly seeking to add further finishing touches, the Club is justifiably proud of being able to provide golfers with the opportunity to enjoy one of the North West’s golfing gems and play holes that rank alongside the finest in the area.
